Be honest, most of us have not even heard of the scales about to be mentioned. Also if you only know 1 or 2 modes of scale, that doesnt [i]really[/i] count. You should generally know all modes of the scale!
*After voting, reply with the number of scales you know i.e. If I know major and pentatonic I will say 2. You dont have to do this, but it will be interesting to see who knows what.
Scales that generally don't conform to Western Music and have not been listed above should go under Non-Western Scales. This is different music theory I suppose, seeming as Eastern Music has more note intervals than we do, therefore if any of you actually know some of these scales List it down.
Any other scale not mentioned goes in "other"
I hope this Poll may be a reflection of what we do know ,and perhaps areas in which we need to improve on etc. Some scales will obviously be irrelevant to your style of music, so don't feel bad . Music is such a subjective taste!
