Manfred-Klose OK ok, i'll confess, i also started playing bass n few months ago, and quickly got the hang of it. Does anyone have any Famous basslines i can go try out, or exersices? If you have, put in Guitar pro format, or a notepad file will also work. Thanks!!!!! ?

dee How about the one that goes: Dumdara dumbdara dum dam... Ok, but seriously here is something actually useful. A few Guitar Pro files, have not checked them out, maybe they can be of use to you... http://www.filefactory.com/file/bc74f5/n/bass_stuff_zip
Manfred-Klose Thanks rene, you came to rescue again. and thanks dee. It's Me Renesongs not Michelle doing this post No problem, just some guitarforum traffic.
iLLy Two nice/funky lines I learned early on were "You give me something" and [oh crap can't remember now] by Jamiroquai... not technically difficult, but a nice little jam to do
andrewjbryson These are some of my favourites to play on bass : try and grab the tabs for them of google Limp Bizkit - Re Arranged Boo - Lucky Red Hot Chili Peppers - All Around the world Rage Against the machine - People of the sun
Explorerlover Manny, look for the tab for Stu Hamm's bass solo he does on the Joe Satriani - Live in San francisco DVD...not funky, but damn, it's a great piece of music
