u know this interview , it brings tears to my eyes ...... here we have a rather naive eddie , the world opening up at his feet ...a rare exceptional talent that went on to achieve superstardom ....

u know , in music history there are few bands that changed the face of music ...van halen is one of them and its the amalgamation of 4 talented guys that got together an changed the world.

Eddie is right up there with page, hendrix,clapton .....VH music was never as "deep" as theirs ,being more of a good time party band and maybe eddie lost out on a bit of credibility because of that but dayum he stands second to one in the guitar wolrd
