Hi All.

Well what to say?

Warehouse manager by day, vocalist by night. I've been singing since school days, had my first Teasy guitar when I was 17. Played on and off, even took some classes and did recitals with them. By 19 I discovered females so the guitar spent a lot of time standing and the neck broke. In 2005 I bought a little (very little) Nylon stringed Ritmuller. I did a songwriting workshop about 6 months ago and realised it was time to dust off the little classic. About 2 weeks later I bought a Sanchez (Cash Crusader special :-[) I've been practicing so hard I realised last night the red paint is worn through. If all goes well, I will buy my Cort end of September 2011

As far as singing goes, I used to be in a Acapella group in Pretoria. However it was non paying and quite a ways to travel for me. I resigned and is now a backing vocal in the church band, also travel to schools to minister. This obviously doesn't pay either, but it is extremely close to home, and the benefits are out of this world. I will possibly start playing guitar with them once I feel I am au fait enough.

If you're in Pretoria and need a vocalist...here I am.

Cool. Welcome. Discovering girls is usually the reason boys play more guitar, not less ?

Great thing to pick up again. Buy a Yamaha, not a Cort. Cort treat their workers like animals.

Hear what you are saying SM. But I had a look, even guitars R1k more doesn't give the same sound quality. Cort's value for money is hard to get. Even had a look at some Fender acoustics, but sound just isn't the same. Maybe I should buy a 2nd hand Cort, that dates back to before everybody knew they treated their staff badly.

Yep. Cort get nothing out of 2nd hand dealings.

Our next session is on Friday the 23rd September from 6pm till whenever. Usually goes till about 11-12.
