Hey everyone,
I have also decided to record all the instruments myself, that will include guitar, bass, drums and of course vocals.
firstly congrats are in order ...... enjoy and yes ..it's fabulous to get your own music out there in the market
second...just a point ......"use it don't use it" and this is coming from a fellow multi instrumentalist , ( i play guitars ,electric, acoustic , classical, flamenco /upright bass/electric bass /keyboards/ i can program sequencers and can engineer and mix and done all pro at some or other stage ) and even tho i can do it all........ i don't ........ i prefer having other musicians influences on the recordings .and a differnt ear mixing ..........
yes i know it's tempting to do it all, but in my 20 years as a pro muso and endless sessions i have found it's the spontaneous interaction of musicians that instill a sense of magic into your recording .......
anyway it's more fun working with a crew that flying solo cos even if you think you have the perfect tune arranged....just one persons "new" idea or altered bassline can make it beyond fantastic ..... so anyway just something to consider .....
