21Fretter I imagine you've been keeping an eye on Gumtree? There should be quite a lot of posts near to the date, unfortunately more than likely at jacked up prices though but you do get the few people who truthfully just can't make it after something came up and sell it at purchase price.
Jericho A few Coldplay tickets have been popping up on office internal classifieds recently. Pretty much all are at face value. I'm thinking these are people who were excited that a big band is coming into SA, went out and bought tickets and were looking forward to it. Then they heard Coldplay's music.

Garth-S I can't wait to see them in action. My wife and I are going to the JHB concert, we'll be coming up from Durbs. I hate it that nobody ever comes to Durbs! >☹

giggsy Yeah, I'm going - looking forward to it as they do put on quite a show (not stage wise in a U2 way but a very energetic and tight performance)
