How would you connect a pup to a push pull pot? I know they are normally used to split a humbucker. Didn't realize you could use it for more than that? ?
They have a DPDT switch, so you can use them for most things - series/parallel, phase, whatever. IMO, not very practical for pickup switching though.

Has anyone had any experience regarding rotary pickup selectors, more specifically the 6 way selector?
It's a four pole rotary switch, so you can do just about anything you can imagine with it. You also get a 5-way version of the same switch. The ones sold for guitar are made by Oak Grigsby, so are real nice quality.
Not quite as nice to use as a lever switch as they don't give you as clear an indication of where they are set. But they do the job and work fine once you get the hang of counting clicks to find out where you are. They are solid shaft, so you need a knob with a set screw (preferably for a US 1/4" shaft, rather than the Asian 6mm). The Chickenhead knobs give you the best indication of where you are.
You need a bit more space than a volume control to fit them. Cavity must be at least 32mm deep and they need about 25 - 35mm width (the switch itself is oval).
