What are these two chords?

So I'm posting this video for two reasons:

1. I reckon we can all do with a quick dose of Gary Moore awesomeness again.
2. I want to know what those chords are that he plays almost every time just before the 12 bar blues cycle starts. The first time he plays them are at 1:31 and again at 2:21.

Two chords... he slides down from C7 to B7. Both chords in the first position and only playing strings 5, 4 and 3. On the second stab he only plays one note sliding down from the A# to A on the 3rd string. i.e. 3rd to 2nd fret.

Excellent, thanks! So it's really that simple? I have to follow up with a silly question though but what key is the 12 bar blues in, is it E? I can work it out this arvie when I have my guitar with me but I thought I'd ask seeing as I suspect you know already.
