So. I've had a listen to the new Rise Against album, and I love it. Gonna go buy it this weekend, definitely. I've been fans of this band since.. well.. three albums back, and I just wanted to know what people think about them, their newer albums and their technical skill ? Also, if you wanted to hear a cover of any song (A good cover, mind you, not an Atreyu-You Give Love a Bad Name) what would it be? I've been thinking of suggesting to my band one of the songs as a cover.
Oh, and I love The Strength To Go On, From Heads University, The Dirt Whispered, and their single. Those are on constant replay right now ?

i have two of their old cd's, 'revolutions per minute' and 'siren song of the counter culture'.
is the new cd the one that comes after 'siren song of the counter culture'? What is it like compared to the old stuff?
because i like rise against (used to listen to them alot) but it seems like all the bands that i used to listen to seem to dissapoint when they bring out a new cd..
think its worth getting?

dylan, there was an album in 2006 called The Sufferer and the Witness [GOOD]. The new one was released i at the end of September 2008. I'd say compared to the older albums the new one has a slightly slower pace and the guitars have bit less distortion, sill good tough! I think you must have a listen to it before you buy it........

They seem to have taken a slightly more Bad Religion route with Appeal for Reason.
If you enjoyed Siren and Revolutions you will like Appeal. Take my word for it. ?
