Hi
I have a fairly old (10 years) Ibanez RG series guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge. Back then, I ordered a humbucker pickup, but they sent me one that was NOT F-spaced. I have been using it over the years, but I am wondering how much that is affecting my sound etc. I am concerned cause I might be joining a band again.
Should I invest in a new F-spaced humbucker/pickup or not?

Not really an issue with anything but a vintage style Strat, which has wider string spacing than more modern guitars. The poles don't line up perfectly with the strings, but not too far off. Don't worry - if you had a string balance problem, you would have noticed it by now and wouldn't be asking the question.
