Recently acquired a PRS Santana III. What a guitar, it sustains forever. Like the neck fat and great feel.
I was wondering whether anyone has tried playing an electric guitar through a dedicated accoustic amp. I have never tried this and wondering what it would sound like.

Generally regarded as a bit "flat" sounding, because of the lack of drive and compression and the extra top end usually makes any drive or distortion sound particularly harsh. However, I'd be interested on your take on it because The Strawberry blonde isn't a hi-fi type acoustic amp to my ear and I suspect that it might sound quite good for very clean stuff with quite a percussive punch and an extra sparkly top end.
