Megadeth are as good today as they were 28 years ago, if not better - I doubt you could say that for Metallica.

Now re-doing the Black album was uneccessary. It was brilliantly produced, mixed, mastered and whatever else. In fact it was almost flawless. It would have made more sense to re-do 'And Justice for all' because, quite frankly, the original production was crap. IMHO. 8)
Yes, Metallica sold out, they're sold out every time they play. ?
But, what they've done , as for selling out, yes, they did and 'SO EFFING WHAT'!
What would you have done, you're upcoming metal band, and you don't make enough money to survive, and need to get the attention of the masses?
You can play fast forever, but someones gonna come and play faster... , and someone needs to pay the bills.
What they didn't do was continuing with the same hard , speed stuff from Kill em all, and Master of puppets. They reinvented themselves over 30 years now. Look at Ac/DC, with Black Ice(??), the first thing people said, 'But they still sound exctly the same'!!! Would have been interesting to hear the opninions had Metallica brought out 10 albums sounding like Kill em all and Master of Puppets.
