Contact Marshall, or consider the Tokai range if the name on the headstock isn't important to you. They offer a lot of guitaring bang per buck.
If you want the fun of doing the upgrade yourself then go right ahead! There are advantages to doing it this way . You can do it a piece at a time as you get the money, and you can decide what pickups, bridge etc you want.
