So, I've never put my gear up here before, so I figured I'd share a bit ?
So these be my guitars. Haven't got pics of my amp etc yet, so I'll put that up later ?
First and foremost, my 2002 Epiphone FAT-210, now sporting authentic Fender Strat '69 re-issue pups:
I'm a big fan of the American Strats, but my little Epiphone, which has cost me a total of R2,700 with mods, plays better than even those, in my ever-so-humble opinion... even though it may be slightly Chinese...
Laminated Alder body, rosewood fretboard, 3-piece maple neck, etc... I love it ?
Next up, my Cort Earth 100-F acoustic
Despite being made in China (shock! horror! ? ) this plays exceptionally well. Mahogany back, sides and neck, spruce top, rosewood fretboard, Fishman Classic 4 electronics... Gorgeous mahogany growl, despite it not being that old (2007).
Last, but certainly not least, the latest addition to the family, courtesy of flatfourfan, my 2010 Indonesian Ibanez RGA 32 ? ? ?
I was looking for something for the heavier stuff I sometimes play (Rammstein, etc.) and when flatfourfan put this up for sale at such a good price, I just couldn't resist ? Coupled with my Peavey VK112, it sounds absolutely
incredible ?
So there we have my guitars ? More to follow sometime, with the amp and pedal... And...
perhaps... eventually an archtop ? This GAS is a problem for the wallet, yes? :?
