Pulled the trigger Got myself a Les

I have been wanting to get myself a nice Les Paul copy for some time now

been researching quite a bit , and I went to the shops to play a few

so I got the Vintage V100 Tobacco Sunburst for R3500 after haggling for discount
totally happy with it
what I really like is the fact that their is no Veneer on it, its all nice solid carved
and no funny wood names either

here is a rundown of the specs

Neck: Mahogany – Set Neck

Scale: 24.75"/ 628mm
Frets: 22
Neck Inlays: Pearloid Crown
Tuners: Gold

Pickups: Wilkinson® Double Coil x 2
Hardware: Gold
Controls: 2 x Volume/ 2 x Tone/ 3-Way Toggle

I am totally in love with the sound from the Wilkinson pickups

I have played both the cort and the Vintage,
I found the vintage this blows the cort out of the water.

I must also say the vintage is the first guitar that I have bought on which I wont change anything,usually I mod my guitars extensively eg. tuners /pick-guards /pickups etc

but on the v100 I will not as I am too scared I will spoil that fat tone.

Well I decided that if it's still there when I go to pick up my pick up tomorrow, I'll take it to stage 2..........i.e. play it.

The hardware and electronics was the deciding factor when I considered the 2.

It really does seem like very good value for money.
