My favourite May part (not solo) is the bit in Good Company where he multitracks guitars to create a Dixie jazz band, absolutely nailing the phrasing, tone and arrangement. Or his multitracked orchestra in God Save the Queen.
If I had to go for a solo (How can I choose one?) it would be one of the following: Killer Queen, Brigton Rock, These are the Days of Our Lives, Crazy Little Thing, I Want it All, The Miracle, We Will Rock You and yes, maybe even Bohemian Rhapsody.

Yeah ive heard of vai using the fernandes sustainer pickup. Its basicly the same as an E bow as far as i get it, its just placed on the guitar ( id like one of each lol )
The sad thing about todays music is thats its all about the show and not about the music ( No i don't mean Vai sucks ). Its just modern music has lost the flavor that made the all the greats 'great'. Freddy was a show man yes, but man their songs still rocked. I would have loved to seen queen live ☹ I see lots of modern band that audiences love, but its all about their show. After listening the cd's twice I'm so bored and irritated with it. Lets see, i have listened to queens songs a million times and so has meir, norio. But do they ever get repetitive or boring ? NO NO NO.
A small brain fart ?
