Even a low powered humbucker is way louder than a single-coil unless you are going to split the humbuckers too. So basically if you want something to match volume wise, you have to go as hot as possible. If you don't mind the volume drop and split the buckers in position 2 & 4, then any of the singles should work and it's down to taste.
I'll connect via a nice diagram that I have here where the humbuckers become single coil in positions 2 and 4. I was just wondering which of the Tonerider single coils will be best suited to the humbuckers, which are alnico 5.
Will there be any hiccup if I connect a bridge single coil in the middle position? The bridge Classic Blues is more powerful than the middle or neck models.
