A while back I bought a Hummingbird from a guy and from day 1 I noticed how incredibly slick the neck felt and even the body on the guitar. I ended up contacting the seller to find out what he used. Turns out he used Gibson polish. I got some from Marshall Music today (R32 nice and cheap) and used it on 2 guitars. It works really well, the guitar necks are SLICK. I am not one for polishing guitars, but I had to reconsider due to the great feel the guitars had afterwards.
It can be used for poly and nitro finished guitars. It has trace amounts of nitro laquer in to help maintain a nitro finish. No stickiness or residue (it's a liquid formula, smells kinda nice) just a really slick finish after application. Probably a must have for Gibson owners as not everything is safe on a nitro finish.
