Jack-Flash-Jr Well. US tour now cancelled... I wouldn't have gone to the rescheduled SA concert anyway because I'm a fan of their older albums that they are "ashamed" of. Apparently international tour is going ahead but I'd hedge my bets. From NME: Kings Of Leon cancel entire US tour after Dallas incident A statement blames 'vocal issues and exhaustion' for the shows being pulled Kings Of Leon have cancelled their entire US tour following the onstage meltdown that occurred in Dallas on Friday (July 29). Speculation over the band’s immediate future had been rife since Caleb Followill left the stage midway through the show and did not return. They had claimed the incident was down to heat exhaustion, and subsequently postponed a show in Houston the following night. Now however, the band have pulled all of the forthcoming dates, and they will not be rescheduled, according to Billboard.com. A statement from the band's publicist read: "We are so sorry to say Kings Of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion. The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take a break." It went on to say that the band's timetable does not allow them to reschedule the 28 shows, adding that they cannot be rescheduled due to the band's international tour schedule. Tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online or via phones will be automatically refunded. The band will resume touring in Canada at the Rogers Centre in Vancouver[b/], BC, on September 28. That show was originally scheduled for September 14." The true reasons for the pulled shows had been unclear since Jared Followill admitted via Twitter that the band had ’'big problems'
nick Im also a fan of their older grittier stuff and was hoping to go to the concert but its all sold out ☹
giggsy Yeah, hope the gig goes ahead... obviously infighting in a band ain't good, but it must be magnified tenfold when its family... three brothers and a cousin has got to cause friction
Jack-Flash-Jr Jack Flash Jr wrote Heading into tabloid area but didn't Caleb Followill just marry Yoko somebody? + flatfourfan wrote so a bird didn't crap in anyones mouth this time? = NSFW.
MIKA-the-better-one I am super afraid I dont think SA will get to see KOL... They were supposed to play here in Tampa tonight.... but obviously not now.... The one brother was mentioning that it will be a surprise to him if they even do there international tour, I think there are way more issues than they give off
Lethe Apparently they will play. (Not that I care) ? http://www.channel24.co.za/Music/News/Kings-of-Leon-SA-tour-not-affected-20110802
