Anyone actually ordered anything from Stewmac.com - Experiences & Tips?

Just wondering if anyone has actually successfully ordered anything from Stewmac.com
And their experiences & tips?
How long does shipping take , customs duties
Things to watch out for , etc

Planning on ordering a reasonable amount of stuff , just would like some heads-up its not going to be a nightmare!

I've ordered a few times from them without any issues, and shipping usually took about between 4 and 6 weeks.

I can't remember the exact customs, but if memory serves me right I only paid the 14% Vat. No other funny clearances or so paid.

Many Many Many times before...

Shipping always reasonable provided you pick the right method to ship.
Normal VAT, and clearing fees, never any Duty..

I always take the cheapest shipping options, says 4 weeks...
Dont think I have ever waited for more than 2 weeks for an order to arrive.

Very easy to use.. packaged well, they just do the job properly ?

depends on the post office hey!!!
The order i placed was here within 2 if i remember correctly!

Anyhow, some things dont ship!
So take note of that! unless you're in the US of course!
Things like binding glue or liquids!
Other than that, clearing fees and vat gets paid...
depending again, what you're buying!
you might get charged on metals, depending how customs feels!
Otherwise, stewmac is reasonably easy and quick to ship!

Prices are so good on Stewmac , and shipping is only $12 if there's not any big or very heavy stuff

Same good experiences as everyone else here.
I once forgot to pick the cheapest shipping option and defaulted to something seriously expensive.
Managed to fix it - but be careful there.

I've also bought from ACME guitar works and got brilliant service.
