Lovely addition to your collection . ?
I'm hardly a collector - I sold my prized Larrivee for a steal to buy this one, so it's more a replacement than an addition.
Thanx Keira

Hi Zohn,
And congratulations!
The luthier is not an obvious choice. How did you find about him and why did you choose him to build your guitar?
Correct Bob, Luca might not be famous yet, but believe me he's got all the chops to make it big time. He's a devout Somogyi student - plenty of the Somogyi influences are evident in my guitar like the headstock, bridge and anti-crack strips on the body. He is also Italian, and he knows where to get the best wood.
My guitar's spruce is 12 year old stock from the Val Di Fiemme area in Italy (where Stradivari's soundboards are/have been harvested)
I "met" Luca on the Larrivee forum. I followed the build of this particular guitar until the end. I ultimately sent him a PM to find out how much a guitar like that would be, he mentioned that it was available as a demo, I listened to the sound clip (was immensely impressed by the responsiveness), Cdee saw and bought my Larrivee, and the rest is history.
You can follow the build here.

Thank you Bob, Fingerpicker and Aubs1.
