When I play through ezietsman's amp, I get tone literally beyond what I imagined I'd ever get. I thought that the only way to sound like that would be to get a Marshall JTM "Bluesbreaker" 2x12 combo and play at volumes that would never be tolerated outside brief experiments.
But with EZ's amp I can get
that tone at reasonable volumes. It also emphasises the classic, woody, '50s Les Paul tone of my Tokai on its bridge pickup. I get Beanotone - which is my all time favourite, holy grail blues tone.
With that rig, the only thing limiting my tone is my own playing. I have to have one of my own.
Saying that, I wouldn't want to use this rig for some of the other, twangier stuff I like to play.
