What Pedals

Ok for years I have used a Vox Tonelab.
I am looking at setting up a Pedal Board. What pedals would you recommend for Blues/Rock. I am interested in the MXR range?

Amps I am using are Marshall 1923C 85th Anniversary 50w and a JP Le Roux Soldano 50w.

Mxr Double Shot is a awesome 2-Channel distortion pedal!! Great for Rock (but not ideal for blues), the MXR Distortion + also gives a great sound!! For a nice dirty blues tone i'll recommend a ibanez Ts9 like nick said... Your essentials for getting started IMO should be Distortion/overdrive, Delay and a proper floor tuner.. Dont just look at one brand, some brands tend to be better at certain effects.. Look at the Tc Electronic Flashback Delay and Polytune Tuner... Also go google a few Electro Harmonix pedals like the U.S.A big muff, might be too fuzzy for you but it's worth a try.. I recently played on a Way Huge Swollen Pickle, damn nice blues tone!!

Im talking abit giberish but try those two 2 Mxr's, the 3 pedals nick mentioned and go look into EHX pedals.

Thanks for the replies.

Alan have just used a couple of the standard settings on the TONELAB standard blues and a couple of others . Nothing really that exciting. Will still add some more but ordered a Pedal Train, Fuel Tank, MXR GT OD, MXR Carbon Copy, MXR Dyno Comp and for fun a Boss RC2 Loop Station this morning, will now add some more.

Young Mathew McGibbon at Andy's demonstrated a few pedals and will be putting the board together for me, really helpful.
I am Fortunate to own a great range of guitars not all listed on this forum, just never really got into effects always played clean or used the TONELAB.

Despite my range of guitars, I have never considered myself to be a Guitarist just enjoy having the instruments and play for myself, however am teaming up with someone with the view to playing in public.
