Just copy paste the whole thing, GFSA doesnt is only taking the link up to the exclamation marks, so you have to copy paste the whole thing...otherwise i know theres a way to post a link and name it something else like when people say link is HERE and u click on the here and it goes, but im not sure how to do that...

Not a problem since there are not many Gibson SG's around (I guess :-\ ).....so let's see other brands as well..... The more the merrier ?

An SG looks cool with a Bigsby B5.

Now this is what I'm talking about. A 1961 Les Paul SG with a sideways pull vibrato tailpiece (ludicrous things, but they look cool):

Check out the intense body shaping and deep neck access of these first few years of the SG. SGs are the most demonic looking guitars, and the early '60s SGs are the most demonic looking SGs.

I actually own the same ugly carpet (we use it for the drums) like the one in the background, does that get me any closer? (I just had to mention that as ive never seen one like that anywhere else before) ?

Great photo that UGL and a nice combination to boot (SG + Lionheart = Vintage tone).

@ all the SG owners: are they generally awkwardly neck heavy or is it just the couple of substandard copies I've tried?

They're all neck heavy. As many have noted though, a broad strap sorts that right out.

But it's good if they have a vibrato tail-piece like UGL's. It goes a little way towards balancing them out.

Ya, the Bigsby looks cool but I never use it and it's not really much help when it comes to keeping a stable tuning, i'm going to try and hardtail it.
