Anyone watched "Wonders of the Solar System"?

It's in the BBC "Earth" and "Life" series, or at least the same production values. Very well presented (Prof. Brian Cox, looks a bit like Singe actually?!)...
I swear tears came to my eyes several times during the first disc, not just because of the methane lakes on Titan. Our resident astronomer EZietsman will probably shoot holes in a lot of the ways they present stuff but it's dumbed down enough to be interesting but not patronising and the presenter's enthusiasm and awe shines through nicely.
Anyway, it's a serious recommendation...

This is a great series. You should also have a look at 'Into The Universe with Stephen Hawking', its fantastic!

They are awesome, theres also "the universe" - a History channel production and "through the Wormhole" presented by Morgan Freeman. "The Elegant universe" is also a great one and if you are into this kind of stuff and don't mind getting too geeky check out "scifi science, physics of the impossible".
