Hello there

My name is Simon Tamblyn, and I play in a band called Tape Hiss and Sparkle, and I used to sing in a band called The Sleepers in which I sang in for 7 years.

I own 3 guitars (a B/W Tele Squier, a Hohner Les Paul copy and a 1986 Ovation Celebrity) a vintage 3 chord autoharp, a pennywhistle and a harmonica along with several other shakers and doohickeys.

Tape Hiss and Sparkle is basically just me recording incessantly (i've got a small Cakewalk soundcard helping me along) and you can check those lo-fi alt folk recordings out at soundcloud.com/tapehissandsparkle

Am about to start building my own acoustic guitar! very excited! i love guitars!

I do indeed! saw you guys perform in aandklas, Stellenbosch around that time. Really enjoyed the gig..
