really good, Viccy, really, really good, as usual. I think you only need to adjust your recording level, this is wonderful but I can hear a little distortion in the lower strings :-[.

@jcp, yes, as usual I'm in too much of a hurry to share my song. I know the levels are off, and there's lots of buzzing.

I did another recording to a click track, if anyone is interested in listening to what it sounds like when it's in time. I also made more of an effort to get the levels right, although I'll do a better recording in a studio when the time comes.

I had a listen now to the first clip I posted, and it's WAY slower than what I play it at now, WAY WAY slower. So I guess a better idea of what it sounds like now would be the second click track clip.

Oh my word Viccy you have an incredible sense of harmony that you show a lot in the intro.

The rhythmic 2nd section: Is this Bossa or Samba?

I love the 3rd section with the melancholy arpeggios. I feel your music portrays the inner working thingy of a very mature as a composer (if that makes any sense)

I didn't pick up any distortion. Yes the lower string sometimes buzz only slightly but that is not distortion.

i really can feel the emotion in the song, it shut me from the rest of the world for about 4 minutes.

What is your process of recording, do you slam a mic infront of guitar, record in room that has a nice acoustic caracter, or do you layer stuff ?

i can hear a bit of a room sound in the song.

That's pretty much the nail on the head, although in my opinion a room has to be pretty badly made to have bad acoustic character.
