A friend of mine in the States just built himself a pine Tele. The bridge looked nice:

Intrigued by the obvious quality of the bridge, I looked up Rutter and found his hardware:

Compensated straight saddles in brass and aluminium, steel and aluminium bridges, angled switch control plates - all very nice. He also makes a range of ash or pine bodies - one piece, lightweight.

yes i see thats the latest fab ...to cut away the sides.......... of the bridge ......... it does help with playing i guess but i don't like the look..even the MIA tele standard has the "new vintage bridge" with no sides and 6 saddles..yuk give me a traditional ashtray bridge with 3 brass saddles.... on my tele i like resting my fingers on the lips of the bridge...... either just anchor my pinkie on bottom lip or rest the thumb on the top one..... ( i play it fingerstyle of course ) ...i'm not a fan of cutaway tele bridges........ but they seem to be the way of the furure .even my tele hero.jim campilongo has a custom shop signature tele available and it too has no lips on the bridge but keeps the 3 saddle system at least .....

I'm the same. I also like to anchor (naughty!) and prefer the traditional ashtray.

Glendale still does the best steel "no-cut" Tele bridges (I also prefer his traditional thinner bridges to the heavy machined models of Calaham):
