Aria Pro II Excel Series - any views?

Anyone know anything about these guitars? Possible value maybe? IIRC Alan is quite a fundi on Arias?

Try Matsumoko.org. All sorts of great Aria info there. If it's anything like my two Aria pro ii's the build quality and mojo will be great, but the electronics not so much. Lovely guitars though, and I picked both mine up for less than 800 bucks, so well worth it if you can get one cheap.

I know the late '70s - mid '80s Matsumoku made Arias best. This looks like a '90s Korean (Samick) made one.
A bit of research and turned up the following which seem to match what I see in the pics:
Aria Pro II Excel XL CST 3 (1994) - offset double cutaway hardwood body, curly maple top/back, ART-10 double locking vibrato, gold hardware, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl wedge inlay, 6-on-a-side tuners, 2 single coil/1 humbucker pickups, volume/tone control, 5-position switch, coil split in tone control
Value is anyone's guess, but I'd probably want to pay R1,500 or less for one in good condition (make sure the trem works smoothly).

Awesome, thanks guys! So yeah, Alan is an Aria fundi ?
