The Challenge July 2011

Renesongs · 2011-07-01T20:47:49+00:00

As threatened This months challenge is Insane Genres The idea is compose a one minute piece of music in 2 musical genres that don't go together e.g. Acid-Flamenco, Grunge-Jazz, Shred-Blues or Gospel-Punk. Since I realise this is a pretty difficult challenge I am going to allow you to borrow well known covers so long as you totally don't sound anything like the original, Rather like what UB40 did to Johnny B Goode. Entries are to be PM ed to me by Monday 24th July '11. Please describe which genres you have put in the your blender in case we don't get it (we're not all hipsters you know)

G-Man

I've gotta sit this one out again, packing the whole of tonight and away 'til monday. Damn I had a pretty funny idea too. Oh well I hope you guys are luckier with time to play than I was.

FruitarGeek

I will hopefully get one in.
