I received a letter with my credit card statement regarding the Exchange Control Legislation enabling the government to control the purchase and sale of Foreign Currency.
There is a R20000 limit per transaction for international internet purchases, but one can still make repeated transaction as long as they are all 20k or less. These limits can be increased by contacting Forex.
Online gambling is illegal and Credit Cards should not be used.
Just a headsup if someones transactions in future aren't going through and they don't know why. It can be annoying trying to pay for gear and you don't know why it's not working.
