Christmas guitar specials?

Here's an idea.

What would you guys say to us all sharing the guitar related Xmas specials from around the country? You see this kind of thing on some of the bigger US based forums, and there's been many a time I've wished I was US based to take advantage of some of the specials I see there. So if we can try get the specials lists or ads/flyers, we could post them here.

The local shops tend to push things in their own little areas, neglecting the rest of the country, and there will often be things of interest to us that we never get to hear about. Some stores who are also distributors often don't even advertise some of their in-store specials for fear of upsetting their wholesale clients (stupid thinking IMO). Most of the local music stores, even the bigger ones don't have decent web sites and even the ones that do don't bother updating them. So I never get to see what guys like TOMS, Marshall, Music Connection, Coastal Music, etc. have on special (or even in stock). We can ask www.muz.co.za to post his specials too - he's lurking around here somewhere. If this works, we can maybe continue to post other specials in future.

Obviously this would have to get Norio's approval. It could be viewed as letting some crass commercialism into our otherwise (so far) unsullied site.

Bothner's Xmas specials are below. Mostly nothing to get excited about, It's all the entry level stuff, as that's the market this time of year.

However, I pushed a bit, so what they have done (specifically for us on the Guitar Forum) is hold the October (Rocktober as they call it) and November (Guitar Month) specials where they still have stock. There are a few things mixed in that are well worth looking at.
