Thanks guys i really have been enjoying her. One thing that bothered me though is how Gibson don't take time to setup new guitars. The action was pretty high and even though it only took a few minutes to sort out you do tend to expect more from Gibson. That said the fullness of the sound is crazy ? and I'm starting to appreciate the differences between an Ebony vs a Rosewood neck ?. HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL OF YOU! ?
I guess it's difficult to please all. Some like a high action...some like it very low or medium and so forth....also most players change the 10's stock strings and then it's wise to have a set-up done which would include intonation and a bit of neck tweaking to compensate inter alia for specific climatic environments. I remember having to tweak the maple neck on my Strat returning to a drier Stellenbosch after playing in the Strand not far from you.
