Hey Guys, i need some help.
I am in need of a 220V AC to 15V AC power adapter. I have bought a 220v AC to 15v DC power adapter not realizing what i needed was to 15v AC power. Has anyone possibly got something they could help me out with, or schematics to build a small inverter or some advice? Please??

You do not want to turn the DC into AC using an inverter, what you want is to leave out the AC to DC conversion (rectifier) from your power supply. Either you buy a 220-15 transformer (keeping the power consumption you need in mind) or you mod your existing supply to skip the rectifier.

Thanks gearhead, i thought there may be an option to skip the rectifier. My technical expertise do not extend to this level so i will have to speak to a friend of mine about that. DC to AC apparently you have to put an oscillator in to convert it back to AC and it gets very complex. Place here in PE i spoke to a few minutes ago can build a 'project box' for me will all the components for 220V ac to 15v ac and then i have to do the final assembly and it will work.
Considering i have the ac to dc converter, i will see if i can do what you said. Thanks for the advice

What kit? It only needs one frikkin' component: transformer. If you want to make it complicated you can add a case, connectors, fuses, fuse boxes, an on/off switch and a pilot light but still the only part that does anything is the transformer.
