Nobody seems to have posted about it yet so I'm hoping I'm not rehashing old news here, I just thought I should mention that Guthrie Govan has a fusion band now called The Aristocrats. It's Govan on guitar, Marco Minneman on drums and Bryan Beller on bass. They are all amazing musicians and I'm sure the album will be jaw dropping.
That being said if you go to their website right here:
http://the-aristocrats-band.com/ you can download a free track they've just posted called Sweaty Knockers. Their debut album is set to release on September the 13th, the very next day Guthrie Govan himself will be sitting in front of a Cape Town audience.
There's also a 5 minute sneak preview of the album:
To top it all off the artwork is pretty cool 8)
