Morning to all you guitar aficionados and just plain appreciators,
Last night i picked up a sweet Yamaha Pacifica, from its serial number its either made in 2000, 1990, 1980...you get the picture. I wish they could have made a better system so you actually know how old the guitar is. Its a 112M series and its a beaut in my opinion. Thing is its taken quite a few knocks over the years and the paintwork has seen much better days. I am going to strip the body down and take the guitar apart, do a few little mods to the wiring and shielding again but my big question is i need some advice on how to make her look.
Some input guys, i am considering going the route of natural look for the wood, IOW strip it down to the wood and then layer it up with stain of sorts and then seal it up.
Such a pretty guitar and i want to restore it to its former rock glory! \m/ \m/
