No Cape Town :\ Pretty lame-o. Would definitely see them. More of a fan of older their older stuff (All Killer.., some Chuck and DTLI) but I'd definitely still go.

Same... I just wish Brownsound was still in the band. I shall go if the tickets are R250 or below ?

i'd be goin to if there was a cape town date, oh well ? . dont know if you guys think the same but their tone- the guitar sound they get on their on their albums, is pretty darn good i've always thought.

giggsy

That's awesome, should be a blast!

Truthfully in my opinion, don't even bother. The newest album (Screaming Bloody Murder or something) is terrible in my opinion. Underclass Hero is average but definitely check-outable, some catching songs (walking disaster, underclass hero, dear father)

Gotta disagree with you there! ? But that's what's so cool about subjectivity.

I think Screaming Bloody Murder is pretty damn good - definitely not that much worse, or that better in fact, than their other stuff - Blood In My Eyes is one of the best tracks they've done IMO. Crash, on the other hand though does show that Avril is rubbing off a bit on them...

Some people may not concur, but I think its refreshing that Sum 41 haven't evolved too much over the years - although they've got 'darker' (Screaming Bloody Murder doesn't have a Fat Lip, Makes No Difference, My Direction or Underclass Hero even) and their songs a bit more complex, but you can always tell that it's them and you always know what you're going to get. Got a live album of theirs as well as a live DVD, and yeah, while Dave might have left, and I reckon he was a big part of the band, I cant wait to see them live.
