Sounds like you really want that es137. If that's what you MUST have I'd call Marshall in Sandton and ask them about prices and availability. They are a Gibson dealer after all. But I think you should shop around.
The p90s are single coil pickups. Noisier, a little clearer. The 490 and 498 are humbuckers - quieter, warmer. That's in very general terms. They are quite different pups. I'm not going to say which is better - that's a personal choice. This is why you need to try some guitars out rather than just buy blind.
