If I had to cast my mind back to think of who the first guitarists were that really blew my mind, two acts come to mind immediately. The first is Peppino D'Agostino, a brilliant acoustic player whom I've always admired. He's just always done such interesting things with a guitar that I found truly amazing. This post is not about him though, it's about the other act called Strunz and Farah. Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah is a Costa Rican and Iranian duo and they too pull the most fascinating stuff out of their nylon guitars - think Latin meets Persian sprinkled with Jazz. I'll probably never be anywhere near where these guys are but they have been the reason why I've dedicated a large chunk of my time to nylon guitar in past.
