Any idea who wrote this?

So I caught this bit of a Desperate Housewives episode the other night where one of the characters plays a little guitar instrumental and I was wondering it anyone knows who wrote the piece?

I'd love to find the artist and with any luck a full tab.

cant you just transcribe it yourself??
just watched it and you could probably do it by ear!!!and watching his fretting hand!

also, if its a song that was played, couldnt you use a service like shazaam or the like to see if it can figure it out??

That would require me having significantly better guitar skills.

Already tried Soundhound and Shazam, neither has the slightest clue.

nee man... Use a program like VLC to play the vid as im sure its on your local drive, that way, you can slow it down, and learn it note for note!
Just try it, you'll surprize yourself!
Keep in mind, the greats had to learn by ear and seeing and not by tab ?

No, it doesn't seem to be, but what I tabbed out sounds pretty similar. I think the guitar is detuned or something on the show, because what I tabbed is in a different key, but sounds pretty close.
