My Musical Family!

FruitarGeek

Alexis - My trusted Strat

Paul - My backup guitar

Cassy - My first ever guitar, and still a gem to play on.

My latest addition - courtesy of RobK who was extremely generous in his dealings with me. My venture into jazz would not be complete without a guitar such as this. The pictures do not do it Justice. Thank you Rob.

2 years of pedal scouting finally complete.

And now Everyone together ?

Im not quite sure what you mean by 'smoky', the Jazz tone to me is still something I have to suss out, but, it is slightly more darker than the rest, and obviously with it being semi-hollow it offers a beautiful compromise between solid and hollow. I will record it soon for you to hear!

Must say that thread headline had me there for a sec. I thought you were posting pics of your Mom and Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, and brothers and sisters sitting there with violins, harmonicas, accordions, and you with an acoustic all singing all happy songs from the '20s ........ ?

Ahhh, but if you look in the final pictures, you will see old (kinda) faithful in the back. Its nothing to brag about, I am saving for a nice valve (arn't we all), but it is my gear so has to be included none the less

Norman86

Nice collection ? That Ibanez is beautiful, as most of them are, I hope you enjoy them for many years to come ?

So long as this smoky jazz tone isn't the horrible tone lacking tryna cop George Benson sound that Cape Town is infamous for then I'm all for it ?

FruitarGeek wrote I am saving for a nice valve (arn't we all),

Nope...Don't have one, don't want one ?
