Not a bad idea but requires more work. Not sure how to do it ? Consider the above (and the below) and then let me know if you still think this is the way to go.
I do like it, but further reflection tells me that while it is prime adspace visibility-wise, it also means lower impressions, as they only show up on thread pages. Six of one...
The other option (and possibly the best one), is to have our own advertisers in the header area (keeping them leaderboard size), and replace the 468 banners at the bottom of the page with the Adgator served banners (of either size - but I think A.G. have more leaderboard than banner advertisers). This will condense the layout at the top of the page (which was my whole reason for wanting the ads moved to the header - rather than to create space for
more ads). Both ads then get maximum impressions possible, but with minimal interference on the site's design and our own advertisers get the better screen real estate.
