Christopher Walken is the MAN (actually, so is Will Ferrell - he wrote the skit for Saturday Night Live in 2000. Looked all over YouTube now but seems the original video has been pulled down, there are short clips available, but you really should watch it in its entirety...)

Indeed. Piet snuffed it a loooooooooong time ago too - he was hit by a car, poor thing. Louis and Ella were actually his replacements... My dad wanted to call him Jaapie (in keeping with the very plain, Afrikaans name, theme), but my mom drew the line, thank goodness! Though she's now got two Airedales called Harriet and Mildred?! lol! My family are pro at giving pets hilarious human names, I must say!
