Jim Reed Strat

Hi Guys,

There is a strat copy on g-tree by "Jim Reed"......(this is the link..http://capetown.gumtree.co.za/c-Stuff-for-Sale-musical-instruments-Jim-Reed-Italian-Hand-Made-Strat-W0QQAdIdZ271647489)

Does anybody know anything about this guitar or whether it is any good?
Looks like a stunner but will it sound the look?
And the price...... ?

The link says something about Italian, but that particular variation of English looks to me like there are some Chinese guys behind this.

I spoke to the chap and he is a SA boytjie. No funny business. The body is made of Ash wood. He says it has a beautiful tone?
It has a coil tap on the humbucker, is that really usefull?

Ok fine, so nobody knows anything about Jim Reed`s guitars......
