Well good luck with Jean Village. In the past they havent sounded like they were really part of the plot when I have been there. I got this little postcard thing in the psot and tried calling them yesterday and the number dont wanna answer and just makes a funny sound. So I called Claremont and they said they will sell to me so I will get my sister to pick up and maybe one of you okes down there will have to come up here with my stuff ne.

I went to N1 City branch and had a serious case of GAS and came away with a Laney 35W Acoustic amp and a 1604 snake. Just about everything is 30% off! ?

Some great prices on amps and Strats & Teles. Also noticed a few goodlooking Corts.

Nothing actually. What i wanted they didn't have and a guitar that grabbed my attention, they weren't willing to negotiate on (it was marked at 6k and i asked if they'd let it go for 5k). I'm Indian, it's in our DNA to haggle ?

got to agree with you... i went to Bothners last weekend, as previously mentioned.. they didn't have what i was looking for..
so monday i happened to be in the vicinity of the other guitar store closer towards fish hoek.. they had what I was after.. and price was 30% off the ticket price..

so i would expect discounts to be off the "discount price" too other wise its busniess as normal isn't it... ???

Just a ploy to make tou think you're getting a bargain... but its the "normal" price in the first place. :-\

at least they not as bad as Pick n Pay....
there was a certain product that i purchased every week for R18.00

then I go there and suddenly there's a sign " On Sale R22.00, Normally R28.00 - Save R6.00"..!!!
