Well, on Saturday afternoon a friend of mine was setting up for his Saturday night gig and his foot got caught on a cable, the cable lifted the guitar stand and SG into the air and catapulted it off the stage face down onto the floor a meter below the stage.
The edge of the nut hit the floor first which cracked the nut at the D string.
No headstock damage, no neck joint damage, just a nut repair.
Do not try this at home, guitarists who get away with these kind of stunts are trained professionals. ?
