When our first and only child was born, I had to leave the county for 6 months on business. Returned when he was 6and1/2 months old. Missed the whole winds, first teething, etc phase. Don't know if i qualifies as a tip? ?

Seriously, its gonna be great. And you won't have money anymore to indulge in GAS. Precious. ?

? Congratulations ? - I know exactly how you feel even though it was more than 15 years ago - my first reaction was "I'm too young to die" - But after she/he is born and you settle in you soon wonder how you lived without him/her. ?

You have my condolences.

I have four and one in law and its been a ride. They are all great and everything works out well generally.
Theres no need to kak yourself - just relax, sleep a lot, do breathing exercises and settle in with a few gentle strokes on the acoustic. (thats in case you wake him/her up cause then you will kak yourself). Eventually when you think it can get no worse.........it does ....haha. ?

My oldest is 24 and practices metal day and night on his axe. He is getting better by the day and hopefully soon will cut his first album. Keeps me on my toes as he expects me to jam with him when he comes down here. The others have also tinkered but not seriously yet.

So you see eventually there is an upside. LOL ?

I read years ago that an english football fan named his son after all 11 players of his teams FA Cup winning side, so Steven Joe Andy Eric Frank David de Sousa sounds kind of cute, just call him Axe for short.
A girl would be something else D'addario de Sousa perhaps. Or you could go for Bruce or Sheila?
