Any other talents?

Demon Dave's double life as Jean Claude Van Dave got me thinking about odd skills we have or circumstances some of us may have found ourselves in (cage fighting in Sydney ? )... (this was covered some time ago but there's a lot of new active members)... Tell us something interesting about yourself that others may not know!

strataxe wrote Nope, jack of all trades master of none... ? Actually, I'm quite an avid triathlete, but definetaly not talented. Finished Ironman 4 times. Playing guitar is my other talent. Can't do much after a couple of hours training on the weekends.

Don't sell yourself short strataxe. If you've finished the Ironman once then you're talented, if you've done it four times you're pretty darn kick ass. Nice display of modesty there but you're not fooling us. ?

DonRoos wrote I am a photographer and love photographing wildlife, even birds and have started ticking off my little list at my local haunt - Intaka Island. I am also a tour guide for the Western Cape.
Great stuff! How about showing us some of your work?

I've heard Intaka Island is great. My girlfriend's colleague has offered to take us around there. Looking forward to checking it out.
My kids have been to the "magic island"... think I may take them back as well...

I like it so much I became a member - that means I can go there anytime. I generally go there once a week. It is just round the corner and a really peaceful place in the midst of suberbia.

Edit: I don't see "boudoir" listed under the photo services...

Thanks for the appreciation. Guess I'll have to edit my services to add boudoir to the list. What do you think I should charge for such a service?

Depending on the client I vote for quid pro quo ?

I was a rower at school. Earned provincial colours for WC and participated national selection. Also won a couple of single scull races when I was in Matric including the prestigious Selbourne Sprints in East London. Was set to win gold at SA Junior Champs in the scull but had a technical mishap during my heat :-\ I now row occasionally for UCT.

Any other rowers?

Ran the 400mt in high school. Came 5th in the Transvaal under 17, pretty peved with myself, I just missed it.
