Looper Q - Digitech JamMan

With all the looper talk, anyone used the Digitech JamMan - I seem to recall someone giving it a very positive thumbs up. As good as the Boss RC 20-XL?

The digitech is a better unit in my mind.. I haven't used one, however, the specs are much better than the boss loopers. I'm actually rather surprised at how many boss loopers we have on the forum and how few digitech's we have.

Really? Thats good to hear as I may be getting one! Yeah, I've noticed a big influx of Boss loopers lately - may be cos I've been thinking of getting myself one though so I've been noticing them more...

I have the Jamman, although to be deadly honest I havn't tried it out yet, because my pedal board needs some final touches. Should have a good try out on it within the next month.

BUT!! Having said that, I did choose to buy the Digitech over the boss for very strategic reasons:

The USB Port that allows you to put tracks on your PC.
It can take a memory card, so you can have lots of loops going.
You can have it set with an expression pedal.
You can have mp3 going through it which could be interesting for live application

Well, anyway, I forgot some of the other potent reasons, but it was MUCH better than the RC-2. However, the RC-3 does change things, but as far as I know, you can't use a memory card with the RC-3. Anyway, my rational was that the Jamman beat the RC-2 hands down, and then the RC-3 came out with the same (minus a few) features as the Jamman, instead of 'bettering' it somehow. So the Jamman won my vote.

Now just to figure it out... ???
