I just watched District 9 for the first time, and I'm rather blown away.

Manfred-Klose

District 9 surprised a lot of people....myself included. No disrespect but it is not like blockbusters and Oscar nominated flicks are coming out of SA every other day. (not that most of the movies that are nominated actually deserve it-especially many of the Hollywood releases)

For me as an ex-pat, I got many a cackle out of the underlying humor. The soundtrack was really good also, I bought that as soon as I saw the flick. Nice that Sharlto Copley got the part of Murdock in the new A-Team...... he was perfect for the role.

Talking about Sly.......in Rambo 4........ ever wonder how many bad guys he killed with that .50 and other weapons? LOL!!! YouTube "Rambo 4 body count" if you are curious and don't mind a LOT of gore... I won't post it up here in case it offends anyone or if kids are browsing or peeking over dad's shoulder....LOL.

Averatu

I know what you mean, I saw first blood at age 10, not a good idea. Can think they just upped the ante on the gore.

I couldn't sleep and it came on, it was hilarious. There is a fight scene between Jackie Chan and this English dude, but they're both speaking Chinese and dubbed back to English, it was so funny.

He also makes epic cat noises when he attacks his opponents, how could he lose? (the whole movie is on Youtube lol, check out the last fight scene rofl)

I used to be a Kung Fu fliek fanatic. Chan is the master of physical comedy, him and the chubby guy Samo Hung.
